This album is something very close to my heart, it may be the debut of my work however, it is packed from start to finish with honest truth of form and emotion. Based on a very real night in my life, many moons ago where my entire vision and view of life and existence changed overnight.

I had always thought this would be a solo project for it was something so close to my heart however, I felt the album was lacking something I just couldn't describe after I was done my part. Originally I asked a very close person, more a brother then a friend David Gold (of Woods of Ypres fame) if he would add some guitars into the mix, and too my honour he said he would proudly. However, since he past away a few months later he never got the chance to add his part to the project... (R.I.P man, to a time long gone, and with each passing day I think of you a little more. \w/!) ...With that being said I stored the album away, and it wasn't tell earlier this year, I took it out, and had a re-listen.

As tears steamed down my face, as I re-listened to the album for all the raw emotion that goes with album for me, I found more added since the passing of David. I knew there and then that I had let this album be heard so I reached out to Bryan Belleau a mutual friend of David's and I who also worked with David as well on Woods IV: The Green Album, and he agreed to add his own touch of guitar work to the mix.

Now I admit I don't play guitar well however, I can safely say Bryan nailed it. I didn't set out a plan for him, I just told him to play what he felt, and I truly couldn't be happier for what Bryan has added to this already powerful ride into my subconscious mind. (Thanks again, Bry. Much appreciated! \w/!)

So let this be the start of my journey, let the journey begin... this is "It Took the Night to Believe..."
